General Manager and Head Coach Brian Corwin, signed a 2 year contract with the Port Huron Prowlers of the Federal Hockey League (FHL) worth $6,400 ($3,200/yr).

Brian, a native of Michigan, grew up in Pinckney, MI (near Ann Arbor, MI - home of the U of M Wolverines) and studied both Sports Management and Business ethics at Madonna University in the Sports Management department. As a senior at the the University, Brian served as a Lead Operations Intern with the former Plymouth Whalers (OHL) where he conducted locker room tours, autograph signings, VIP and hospitality services, and sponsorship works in the front office.

"When Port Huron offered me the job it just made sense. The city is just under 100 miles away from Pinckney, MI where I grew up so I can live close to family, and I know the area quite well."

Brian, new to coaching is going to have a lot on his plate in terms of coaching experience and developing his team is concerned, but with his knowledge, network, and management skills - making business calls should come naturally to him.
