The Montreal Expos have announced atrade. The Montreal Expos have sent SP Arnold Powell, RF CarlosBahena and CF Ray Allen to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for LFMat Garnett, SS Pete Marshall and LF Miguel Solis. The 22 year oldPowell is 3-2 with a 3.24 ERA in 6 AAA starts for the Expos. The 16year old Bahena is not playing at this time, but was a find by theExpos earlier this year in Costa Rica while the 23 year old Allen i****ting .292 with 3 HR's and 9 RBIs in 20 A games for Montreal. TheExpos get 26 year old Garnett, he is hitting .245 with 4 HR's and 17RBIs in 49 games for the Blue Jays. The 19 year old Marshall i****ting .278 with 1 HR and 4 RBIs in 12 A games for the Jays whilethe 23 year old Solis is hitting .282 with 3 HR's and 20 RBIs in 45 Agames for the Blue Jays.

Seattle Mariners SP Tommy Larkmanallowed just 1 hit and struck out 15 batters in a 10-0 win over theAngels. The 26 year old is now 7-2 with a 1.62 ERA in 10 starts.

The Expos had just 6 hits in the loss.Expos SP Eddie Hernanez (6-4) allowed 3 runs on 7 hits with 5 Ks over7 innings in the loss. The Expos got a triple from PH Ricardo Duran,his 4th of the year.
