Baseball fans well know about the tirade then-Mississippi Braves manager Phil Wellman had in 2007; the video has been viewed over 1.6 million times.
Less exciting but important enough is that Wellman managed the M-Braves to the Southern League championship in 2008. As has been a common reward by the Braves, the manager of a pennant-winning minor league club is "called up" in September as is made a de facto member of the Atlanta coaching staff.
