Harris gave the Rangers a rare lead over the White Sox with an RBI single in the second.

The Rangers loaded the bases with one out in the top of the third but Burroughs grounded into the inning ending double play.

Bosman had a no-hitter through three.

After three: Texas 1 Chicago 0.

The Rangers loaded the bases with nobody out in the top of the fourth. And didn't score in this inning either.

Andrews led off the bottom of the fourth with a single to quickly break up the no-hitter. Hermann tied the game with an RBI single. Chicago went on to load the bases with two out and then Orta drew a walk to give the White Sox the lead.

In the bottom of the fifth, Allen got his 70th RBI of the season on a sacrifice fly. Melton added an RBI on a groundout.

Harris got his 50th hit of the season in the top of the sixth.

In the bottom of the sixth, Chicago had a runner on first and one out and the Rangers went to the bullpen and brought out Horacio Pina.

After six: Chicago 4 Texas 1.

The White Sox loaded the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh. Pina then hit Hermann with a pitch to force in a run. Reichardt followed up with an RBI single but Melton was thrown out at home trying to score from second.

Bradley struck out Burroughs in the top of the eighth for his 150th K of the season.

Allen added an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth. And Melton brought home a run with a sacrifice fly. With runners at the corners and two out, Jim Panther came in and he struck out Jim Lyttle to end the inning.

Cy Acosta took the mound for Chicago in the ninth. Howard led off with a home run but the Rangers would get no more.

Final score: Chicago 8 Texas 2.
