In that game I do feel like there is a financial incentive due to add-ons, purchasing points, etc for a group of business-minded execs to force the developers to write code that makes you lose games on purpose. I'm all for recognizing the beauty of randomness, but that game made me so angry I had to quit playing it for my own sanity.

Madden as well. Chase Whitehurst (for those who don't know, he was Zach Metrwnberger's backup for the Titans a few years ago) went 34-for-34 against me for 400 yards in week 16. Although the win meant nothing for the Titans who were 3-11 going into that week, it made Week 17 a battle for the division.
