The Chicago Whitestockings have been the dominate team because they had both Don Mattingly and Carl Everett in their prime. They are starting to fade and so did Chicago in 1881. With 8 teams being added in 1882 the competition should be better.

I'm seeing some slight overages on offense, but nothing like before, and I think you could write them off to having the DH in both leagues as opposed to just one league. I did notice however that your Player Creation Modifiers seem to have crept up from 1984 settings. Perhaps they are advancing a year every year because you still have the box checked. Other than that, if you're happy with the way things are going, that's awesome and keep at it.
