The team batting and pitching stats from the end of 1881. The stat numbers for 1882, .265/.328/.392/.721 are in line with 1984. They went up a little bit in previous years, but then back down. This is a good thing. I like a little variance but not too much. This way I don't know exactly whats going to happen but it's not off the board like the steroid era. Pitching ERA is maintaining from 4.00 to 4.25 every year. I'm getting ready to do the first major expansion in 1882 so we'll see if this has any impact. It shouldn't.
