John Coulter, the 27 year old is diagnosed with a ruptured finger tendon and will be out for 3-4 months. Coulter is 1-2 with a 4.74 ERA in 24 games this year. Coulter was a AAA All Star in 1973.

Carl Mathieu from AAA Seattle, the 28 year old is 4-0 with a 1.59 ERA in 22 AAA games. Mathieu was selected for the 1975 AAA All Star game.
