My online league, the TCBA, is now in it's 49th year, the 1918 season, and I have a star reliever who is angry because he is not being used as a "closer." This should not be an issue as there was no such thing as modern style closer usage in this time period.

Having a reliever set to pitch one inning exclusively in any era before the 1980's is ahistorical and highly inefficient usage of that pitcher.
