Then you might want to verify that you have the correct injuries.txt in the data folder. About the only way to have absolutely no injuries is to either disable them in the options, or basically load an injuries.txt file that doesn't parse.
If you turn the trace on before loading your game, you should see a few lines in there about loading injuries. That should say which injury file was used and how many injuries loaded correctly.
