- The 2014 regular season has now ended, and we'll kick off the start of the 2014 USABL Playoffs with the best 2-of-3 series between San Francisco and New York. New York returns to the playoffs for the 2nd straight year, looking for their first title since 2006. San Francisco has never won a championship, but has clinched a spot in the playoffs for the third time in four seasons.

- The only additional piece of news from this week's wire was 2B Tonito Caguioa (USA) of San Francisco being placed on the Disabled List with a torn quadriceps that will keep him out a month, which could mean both the playoffs and the Club Championship. Caguioa started 64 of the team's 70 games this year, hitting .257 with 9 HR and 31 RBI in 214 ABs.

- Puebla placed 3B Ernesto Amaro (CUB) on the DL with a strained back. Amaro is hitting .265 on the season with 2 HR and 6 RBI in 29 games and 83 ABs. The 20 year old is expecting to miss 2 weeks due to the injury. As a result, Javy Cantu (MEX) will slide over to 3B and Elias Menjivar (MEX) will move into the lineup at shortstop.

- In a bit of great news, Mexico City was able to activate star CF Lazaro Hernandez (MEX) off the DL, as the team makes their final playoff push. Hernandez, quite possibly the stacked teams best player, will hit second in the lineup upon his return. He currently has 0 HR and 3 RBI with a .444 average in 11 games.

Next Up: The rest of Week 11 and all of Week 12, or in other words, the first two rounds of the USABL Playoffs.
