Luckily I always backup before purging but I tried it twice in two different years and while the purge finishes properly when the winter and tournament leagues are messed up causing my game to crash. The first time I couldn't get into the Tournaments and Team page without crashing . The second time I purged I could get into the page but the teams were completely different and when I tried to change them the game crashed.
