OOTP Developments Forums - View Single Post - Why does Steam need to "update" my OOTP18 every day

First off let me say, I'm kind of scared to respond here, because I truly don't know what I did to get this to stop. Monday I tried to install the Historical Facegens mod. Something happened when I did this and from that point on, each time I started OOTP the game would show Steam is updating and the blue progress bar would cycle 1 or 2 times before the game would load.
