I posted this on Steam discussions and don't expect to get an answer...hardly anyone ever answers questions on the Steam discussions boards, anyway.
Basically, since the most recent OOTP18 patch, for several days now every time I launch OOTP 18, Steam is "updating" it. It's only a minor annoyance of about 30 seconds until I'm able to play the game, but still.
I know this isn't a bug (like the complete lack of foul outs to the catcher isn't a real "bug"), but it is an annoyance.
Any idea why this might be happening? Anyone?
