The Montreal Expos have made a minor league trade. The Expos will send SP Jose Zertuche and 1B Jose Cano to the Cleveland Indians in exchange for MR Frank Lynn and SS Randy Schultz. The 27 year old Zertuche was 3-7 with a 5.56 ERA in 16 AAA starts for Montreal. The 21 year old Cano was hitting .158 with 1 HR and 7 RBIs in 29 A games for Montreal. The 22 year old Lynn was 1-2 with a 5.79 ERA in 21 relief appearances for the Indians. The 22 year old Schultz was hitting .267 with 1 HR and 8 RBIs in 30 A games with the Indians.


Houston Astros (41-34) at Montreal Expos (37-38)


The Expos are at home in front of 32455 fans to face the Astros and will start RHP Javier Trevino. The 28 year old is 4-4 with a 3.16 ERA in 13 starts.
