A little info on the the setup so far:

Forum Setup
The forum will still be used as the primary source of communication to report commissioner posts, trades, drafts, headline news, etc. I have set up the forum completely and the direct link is: ablootp.proboards.com

When you have received a spot in the league, please take a second and sign up, it is really quick. I encouraged those who did already to use their name as their username and then if you edit profile you can modify your display name to match whatever team you are. This will keep it easy to track now and in future if anyone decides to change their teams or relocate, etc.

The forum is fully set up with categories like:

Commish Portal: Commissioner Notes, Join The League and Time Away
General: General Postings and Advice Threads
SimCast: Daily Sims
The Front Office: Submit Trades, Trade Block, Amateur Draft
The Media: Headline News about team, league or players
The Vault: Where we will store and categorize our history

If you visit the boards now you will see I have many many posts. You will find the League Governance for review as well as the following General Postings in which I encourage everyone to read and give your opinions on:

New GM Introductions
Potential ABL Expansion & Relocation Cities
Getting Familiar with Baseball in 2017
Potential ABL changes to make baseball "more modern"
Major League Franchises on the move
New Stadiums & Renovations

Under Headline News, you will see that I have posted five articles which are related to the 2017 Major League Baseball season, they are:

Season Preview: 2017 American League (predictions and division summaries)
Season Preview: 2017 National League (predictions and division summaries)
Getting to know the ABLs top prospects (a breakdown of the top 15 PBL prospects)
The Future of Baseball is Now International (an interesting read)
Appreciate these players now, because they will be gone soon (interesting characters in baseball)

I stressed in each one of these posts that I did not write these articles, I found them when reading about the 2017 MLB season previews. I also noted a lot of predictions will change based on whoever the GM is and what their intentions are (win now/rebuild).

I have set up the website as well. I had some old banners and teasers I made before when I was going to run the league and they fit in well now. The direct link to the site is: americanbaseballlegion.com

If you take a look on the site, there is our quick introduction to the ABL. There is also an image of the current World Series champion, Chicago Cubs as we will post the league winner there going forward as well. As far as the links on the top of the page, you will see the following:

GM Directory: I set up the teams, some unique logos I liked and GM name with a link to send a PM
League Reports: The reports are up and running and you can view prospects, lineups, etc.
StatsLab: I got this up and running as well, the default password is baseball. Great way to view history now too!
Forum: direct link to the forums
Slack: this is a direct link to our page, I need to figure this out a bit more and that's coming soon. This will keep us mobile!
Starter file: the file needed to get going in game, all updates can be done in-game
Export Tracker: all configured and working properly; I encourage you to D/L game file and export to test your connection
Join Our League: just for anyone who is interested in joining, not needed for any of us
News: I haven't done anything with this.

League File
The League file has all the GMs so far and their current teams. Again the default password is 'baseball' and you will need to change it in the manager settings. Please download the file, export so I can test and feel free to write about your team or player, post an article you read about the team or even post a trade block to get ready.

PLEASE NOTE, the trade window is closed. Any trade posted on the boards will be deleted as I would like to fill all the teams before we even discuss deals. Trade blocks are okay because teams can begin to plan their franchises.

I think this covers all the bases and I will open the league up for new GMs to join. Things should really get rolling now. Thanks for your patience and let's create a league like no other!
