Stepping aside from game commentary: When playing the DK Wilds, there is nothing I hated to see more than Donkey Kong stepping to the plate with a chance to tie or win the game. The big ape just seems to find that moment to punch (as he uses a boxing glove instead of a bat) the kind of tape measure home run his ancestors' ancestors' will sing songs of legend. And every time it happens, I just say to myself. "That's what DK does."

Well long story short, DK leads off the 4^th in a 0-0 game—to this point Mario had been dominating the Wilds bats—and the big guy punched the game winner. Because, well, that's what DK does.
