No kidding. I do the same thing in my fictional league because the AI is goofy sometimes. They'll trade a star player for another play of somewhat reasonable value who plays a position they are already stacked at, creating an unbalanced roster for seemingly no reason. I usually keep my Trade setting at 'low' which keeps the amount of trading way down and then bump it to Normal when the trade deadline approaches. I'll still filter through trades and put the kibosh on any that don't make sense. I'm like David Stern... only worse...
