i've been simming out a ways..

.330-.350ish is typically what an auto-cacl will give you. (modern fictional)

at that range you will see upto ~20 assists on occasion, but it's not frequent. sounds bout right to my ear without looking at RL data.

if you are seeing somethign in a single game... that's where you are going wrong... you cannot possibly distinguish a problem by watchign games... you must look at end of year results and look for outliers - not just a high number like 20, becaues 20 is still feasible in RL.

if you see 20+ consistently and multiple players with that many or more... then you need to reduce OF assists LTM. otherwise you are just being fooled by a small sample size.

I did notice they have increased GB% (what autocalc tries to get it to)... it's higher than in year's past... so a higher % of fly balls will have of assists in order to reach the same "normal" level of OF assist #s. that may be why it seems more frequent... i can't tell you if it's an accident or not, but hte gb% is ~3% higher than in years past based on what auto-calc ties it to.
