The problem is that the AI never removes Pym from the starting rotation. As a result the team has to scramble for a starter everytime his spot in the rotation. Ellucio Bram was selected to replace Pym as the Opening Day starter. This would've been my selection, too. But Bram stays in his role as the closer. When Bram is rested he acts as the closer. This resulted with Bram being tired when Pym's spot in the rotation came up and the team needing to find another starter. And when he starts the team loses its closer for two or three days.
If the player was listed as day-to-day it makes sense to leave him in the rotation. But when he is designated as out, the AI needs to adjust its rotation and lineups.
I have also seen this happens with position players. And again, i think this is mostly a problem in amateur leagues because they don't have reserve rosters or minor leagues, the AI doesn't need to use the disabled list.
