how about this one... Washing DC, not just a territory but part of the union, elects a representative to congress that can't vote.

originally it was due to the fear that living too close to the government could be a confliect of interest... hardly became true, and given today's communication technology distance is not the barrier it used to be.

so, US citizens in the US are not being represented in congress and have not been for ... ever.

nothing to see here... move along.
