We are in Denver to play manager John Potter (50) and his first-place Rockies a 3-game series over the weekend. They just beat the East-leading Phillies 3 of 4 in Philadelphia. We beat them in the first 2 games of the season in Portland. They lead the National League in most offensive categories, but are 2nd in runs scored to the Cubs with 5.5 per game (Portland is #13 with 3.9). They are batting .335 at home so far this year. They are 11th in runs allowed with 4.6 per game (Portland is #2 with 3.6). They have a 5.77 ERA at home and 3.42 on the road.

We were at least winning when we made all the errors....
