But unless you set scouting to 100% accurate, you don't know is that rating is correct or not.
If Rendon drops down to .270 next year, you might want to thank your scout for the heads up. If Rendon hits .330 next year, you might want to fire the scout. In either case, a scout that just tells you the same thing the stat line does is a scout that isn't earning his paycheck.
