Thanks for the support.
I'm an IT developer myself and my top pet peeve is when software changes are made just because the developer can do it without obtaining any input from the end users first. MS was who I was thinking of when I made the original post. Every version changes everything just because they can. I still can't use WORD and EXCEL under Windows 10 as well as under the prior version.
I think they like to see how many negative comments on their forums they can generate.
