It was announced today that St. Louis left fielder Joe Medwick has been acclaimed by the National League as the Player of the Week for his outstanding play last week. "Muscles" posted a .458 batting average as he collected 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 3 home runs and 11 RBIs.
