Well, I think there are many ways the game could be improved to "break through".

1) When managing a team in the current season I want every move I make to be mirrored by the real life team. As the OOTP Marlins GM I traded for Jake Odorizzi in the off season. But for some reason he was pitching for Tampa Bay yesterday.

2) On that note I think the actual Marlins should be sending me a paycheck every season I manage the OOTP Marlins to a better record than they do in real life.

There you go Gents. If you want to really improve OOTP here's two ideas to chew on.
