GM Notes:
Well we finished April strong with back-to-back shut-outs and our #1 and #2 throwing well... then well we started off in May like crap... Talk about a momentum crusher. Here I thought we were turning things around and then wham like a truck my eyes are opened.
I think it might be time to say goodbye to Matt Noble. I really thought he was going to amount to something, but he continues to struggle. Time to get some youth up there, or maybe look for a vet with some leadership. But he just continues to falter and its painful.
This is just awful. I am not sure what to do with this team... no one seems to playing at a level they are capable. What do I do with Hank Davis? He is hitting .171-2-9, and that is awful. Luther Reid? .173-1-4, awful. Catchers? Both Awful!... Eric Harmon? Groundball pitcher, on pace to give up 78 HR's! Ji? 15/17 control rating, but walks 3.8 per 9. My closer? 7.11 ERA. Matt Noble? 12.66 ERA... pukeish!
Jonahtan Loeffler has been awful this season and I think it all goes back to his April 1st development report. He lost 2 MPH on his velocity and lost 2 points on his control and it has made a HUGE difference in his effectiveness. I did "shop" him around which isn't going to make him happy and his trade value is crap now. Doesn't help he isn't doing anything worthwhile this year yet. Just frustrating stuff.
I have no idea what is going on and as we work our way through this season I am starting to get a little worried. If we fall to far behind we are done... I really think we will turn this around, but I am not sure when.
Not much else to be said... if we keep this up you can bet there will be a fire sale come the trade deadline.

Tadasuke Uenohara throw a shut-out this week for the Blue Crabs, made me wonder how some of these guys I have traded over the years are doing. All could be on my staff it it wasn't for financial shortcomings.

Pretty solid staff there...
