Scott Oliver
Scott Oliver was drafted by the Angels in the 23rd round of the 1981 draft out of Bellarmine College (Louisville, KY). He began his career at Idaho Falls starting 14 games and going 6-4 with a 4.99 E.R.A
He split 1982 between Redwood and Danville pitching in 33 games with 16 starts. He was 7-11 with a 4.35 E.R.A. He stayed in Redwood for the 1983 season pitching out of the pen where he had a sparkling 1.30 E.R.A in 26 games. He moved up to AA Waterbury in 1984 and had a fine season with a 12-3 record and a 2.83 E.R.A in 35 games. He was in AAA in 1985- pitching for Edmonton ( 2-0 , 4.25 E.R.A, 32 games). He moved to the Cubs in 1986 and pitched for their AAA team at Iowa posting a 2-3 record w/ a 5.01 E.R.A. He was out of affiliated baseball after the season
