Bryan Kelly seems to have been yet another of those pitchers who can throw fairly hard and strike people out but who can never quite master their control. Sparky Anderson gave Kelly a cup in 1986 and a sip in '87 before trading him to Seattle for Karl Best, who never threw a major league pitch in a Detroit uniform. There are several medium-small black & white photos of Kelly out there, but this is the only photo I have ever seen of him in color.
