As another OOTP season winds down, I just wanted to say "Thank You" to Markus and team, including the beta testers, modders and forum members!
OOTP 17 has become my favorite text sim to date, I'm in the year 2027 and still play just about every day. A game that has me doing fake sports talk radio about my team and I have printouts of lineups, needs, etc.. all over my desk.
I'm guessing my desk looks a lot like most real life GM's.
The addition of 3d was my favorite and allows me to visually see my players on the diamond. Finally winning my first World Series in 2026 with Cleveland was so rewarding and I've moved on, coming back home to St. Louis to GM my adored Cardinals.
I'm excited for OOTP 18, but 17 will forever hold a special place in my text sim gaming history.
