You could run them through a program like Batch Thumbs to rename them all to p2000 through p4000.
Amazingly enough I can't find a link to the program that is written in english but a search on google should take you to something.
Once you are in the program select rename copy convert.and select the files you want to change the name of. On the next screen change the output qualifier to "p" and the sequence # to 2000 the click next and it should work for you.
