Lorenzo Gray is who I immediately thought of...if you line up his rookie card from the 84 topps set (smaller photo) with the TV photo you did not show here his face is in the same angle...But, I don't think it is Gray
I could not find the 1981 White Sox Spring Training roster...perhaps, our answer lies there with a non roster invite
