Roster Expansion!

Only 3 games left for Indianapolis and they are not in contention for the playoffs, so we called up a bunch of their players. 11 of them. All of them have been with us before and are nothing to get excited about, but 2 have not been here yet: C Steve Jensen (24 R) and LF Dick McCay (27 R). The glut of players will at least give us more flexibility on how we lose games.....

If we can finish the season 28-0, we will make it to .500! 10-18 will keep us from 100 losses....

Bottom of the 1st: John Godfrey works the count full and then takes ball four. Joe Gombos beats out an infield hit. Al Soto grounds into a 1-6-3 double play and Godfrey goes to 3rd. Larry Menard flies out to right!

Top of the 3rd: Rich Babbin leads off with a walk and goes to 2nd on a ground out. Tim DePriest reaches when 1B Tim Elliott drops a throw from 3rd. RHP Larry Castillo went 1.1 innings, allowed 1 hit and struck out 1.
LHP Pedro Huerta went 1 inning, allowed 1 run, 1 hit, 1 home run and struck out 2.
