I don't know about Frackers. Just don't like the sound of it.

Edmonton is also known for/as for its wildlife. The two animals mostly associated with Edmonton are the Coyotes and Raccoons. Raccoons are probably its most well known 'critter' according to some tourist websites that explain Edmonton in a bit more detail.
So, I'd also consider:
*Edmonton Raccoons
*Edmonton Coyotes

I do like Coyotes. It's underused in sports, in my opinion. Any of the options for the poll are perfectly fine, as far as I'm concerned (Although I'd prefer "Barons" to "Oil Barons." Shorters nicknames are better).
