We sent RP Bruce Byrd back to Indianapolis (AAA) and recalled RP Freddy Arana.

Manager George Harper (61) has his Giants in town for a 2-game set. They swept the Rockies in 3 games over the weekend. We are 1-8 against them on the season and lost 2 here the last time we met on June 25 and 26. They are 5th in the National League in scoring with 4.7 runs per game (Portland is #16 (last) with 3.5.
