More of an FYI post.
A seller on eBay,
b-e-collectibles, has a number of lots of these what look to me like McCarthy "sample" prints for sale (at prices well beyond my price range). The seller doesn't really identify the visible images, though he more or less lists the names of some in the descriptions (and IDs are on the backs). Teams he has lots for at present are Giants, Expos, Padres, Reds, Cardinals, Dodgers, Astros, and Phillies. I'm of course, horrendous at facial recognition, so I'm only posting a couple I can get. A larger (albeit autographed) version of the Mudcat Grant image can be found in this
Braves70 post. Some of the lots are as few as 2 photos. Others are more like 8 or 10. Might be some guys folks are looking for, if you've got a wad of cash burning a hole in your pocket. The Astros image below, for example, is Steve Shea and Fred Stanley. Don't know that I'd ever seen a color Stanley with the team that originally drafted him before (and those 2 plus Scipio Spinks will only run ya $95...plus shipping). Anyway, they're there for you to be had. Or not.
