I really think both teams played well enough to deserve a win.
The point where I lost hope for Cleveland was late in, I think, Game 6. Lindor was batting with two outs and two on. Inexplicably, he let two pitches on the outside corner go by. The umpire had been calling that location a strike all night, and I'm puzzled as to why he didn't swing at the second on those pitches. Lindor is usually an aggressive and intelligent hitter, and when he went down swinging I thought all was lost.
I'm not blaming Lindor for losing the series, but that is one point at which it was clear to me that our fortunes had turned.
