Lebron Williams swings a t a 3-0 pitch and grounds into a force a t 2nd, 4-6. 2 outs. Rich Babbin lines one to the right field corner, but David Rodriguez makes a sterling catch to end the inning.
Bottom of the 1st: David Rodriguez, flush from his great grab, strikes out. Dave Brown, 4th in the NL in runs scored, lines out to center. Paul Cook grounds out to 3rd. 1-2-3!
Top of the 2nd: Ron Charles leads us off with a home run to right center! 1 to 0, Beavers.
Bottom of the 3rd: With 1 out, David Rodriguez triples. Dave Brown follows with a grounder into left for a hit to tie the game at 1. Paul Cook then hits a perfect double play ball to SS Rick Ferrell, but he boots it. E-6. With 2 outs, Mike Cane singles to score Brown. 2 to 1, Astros. Ron Janeiro then homers to left. 5 to 1, Astros.
Bottom of the 4th: New Pitcher: LHP Steve Mulder. With 1 out, David Rodriguez flies out to left and Frank Wiginton trots in with the ball and sits on the bench and gets The Meister to rub his shoulder. I already used Jerry Alston, so Eddie Cabrales goes out to left. The Meister says it is nothing serious and that Wiginton should be fine in a week or less.
