Top of the 9th: New pitcher: LHP Charlie Baird. Pinch-Hitter: RHB Ray Wilson. He beats out and infield hit and Fred Pariseau works a walk. Pinch-Hitter: RHB Rickey Clayton. He grounds a single to right and the bases are loaded with no outs. Pinch-Hitter: RHB Scott Setta. He drives a 1-0 pitch to deep left center, but CF Ron Shively manages to just run it down for the 1st out. Wilson trots home. 3 to 2, Padres. Masanori Ishii grounds into a 6-4-3 double play to end the game.... He is NOT hotter than hot anymore....
