I'm in a league where we use players from 1970, including those in ***. My St. Louis Cardinals won the NL West and survived two rounds of playoffs to reach the World Series against the Boston Red Sox. The Sox won the first three games and my St. Louis team won the next three games to set up a one-game showdown at Fenway Park for all the marbles. Boston went into the top of the ninth inning, leading 2-1, only three outs away from the championship.
