I have always played the MLB quickstart so I am unfamiliar with this process. Want to start an MLB season using fictional players. Want to start sim at 2007 and go through 2016 so that the league has enough stats to work with.

Some questions....

Will teams like the Mets and Yankees switch stadiums for the 2009(?) seasons?

Do the budgets, payrolls, and expenses actively represent teams' current situations or are they fictional? I'm looking only for fictional players and coaches in my play.

Any advice would be appreciative.
