The last two (maybe combined in one shortlist) are a good idea. Many times, you want to go back and see how your trades have come out.
Going back to my OP, I included this as a shortlist example:
- Top Players (non-relievers with overall ratings of 75 or higher, used in conjunction with News Involving Shortlisted Players to filter out articles about non-important players)
Now, you may be saying, well, you will also get news, then, about your Developing Young Players, Free Agent Targets, HoF Candidates, etc. Yes, but that's all to the good. I find that it helps my immersion to focus on the important players in the game and those that I have an interest in. Sort of like IRL in that, do you follow the seasons, careers, injuries, trades, and transactions of more than, say, 10% of players not on your favorite team?
