Still not working after following your steps....I'm little confessed, in FHM 2 I get this message:
Success: Opengl 2.0 compatible GPU found!
& in FHM 3 I get this message:
Problem - OpenGL version is less than 1.4. OpenGL will be disabled. Please update your graphics card driver!
My laptop has
OpenGL Version 3.1

Are you doing the following as well, after trying each setting:
1. From the FHM3 Start Screen click on the Settings Tab, then click on the Facegen tab, then make sure the Enable Facegen box is checked.
2. Start a new game or continue a saved game. Within your game under the Game Tab, choose Setup/Options. Then make sure the Enable Facegen box is checked.
3. Exit and restart FHM3.
So basically are you clicking 'enable facegen' both in the main menu and the menu once you get into a saved/new game after each time you changed the mode?
