Ironically, I, too, had a team out of Portland w/ a miracle run.
The 1926 Oregon Pioneers with an 80-74 record defeated the Missouri Compromise, who had 105 wins (in a 3-0 sweep), then went on to beat the Rose in the World Series (4-1).
