Here are a couple of features I would like to see added:

1) Different slots for both set up and closers for vs RH and vs LH pitchers.

2) A back up starter(s) slot . Unlike the spot starter slot which applies to the last spot in the rotation, the back up starter would be the selection used if a starter is injured or tired when it is one of the designator starters turn to start.

3) Some logic built into contact extensions that impacts the "I don't like your organizatin " logic, other than through randomness. Much like the "I want to play for a winner" logic is based on the teams record and the players character, this might be based on under (or over) usage. In addition rather than "I don't like your organization", having excessive contract extension demands might serve the same purpose, but not be as absolute.
