Oh wait, nm. I bet it has something to do with the DFA since it's always 10 days after some sort of transaction that they get released. I ALWAYS turn off DFA (and options, and rule 5, and 40 man roster, and player personality and morale and whatever else because every single option that is turned on provides an advantage to me because the AI doesn't handle ANY of them as well as a human player). So, since I had the DFA disabled I guess that's why I never noticed it. It probably didn't happen to me. I also haven't seen it in 17.

No, I have waivers/DFA off too. Fortunately it's not a big deal for me, I don't mind making up stories to explain it, but it is definitely consistent. Some of these guys are first round draft picks then are cut before the season starts (I do the draft in early spring) or are good international discoveries who don't play for a year then get cut, and signed and cut and signed and...
