Preview: Perth defeated Melbourne in a tiebreaker game to host Adelaide. Perth was lead by phenom Rhett Colenutt whose two HRs lead them to a 3-1 victory. Perth and Adelaide are both lead by stable and hot offenses and will require their pitching to step up in order to win this series. Due to a stadia conflict in Norwood Oval, Perth will host the series.
Game 1 - Perth, Western Australia
Rhett Colenutt lead off the home half of the first with a two run home run. Colenutt's fourth of the postseason in two games. In the top of the fourth Adelaide answered with two runs, but Colenutt, not to be outdone lead off the fourth for Perth with a solo shot. After that it was all Perth as they tacked on a total of 5 more runs to win 8-2.

Game 2 - Perth, Western Australia
Perth looked to sweep at home and sweep they did. Perth manufactured run after run as they scored four in the bottom of the third and continued to add two more in the bottom of the fourth. Adelaide's response never came expect for two solo HRs by Brice and Wicks and a manufactured run in the top of the ninth. Perth advances with the sweep.
