DE Conf Announces Best Batter Award: In September, Chadds Ford Cannons third baseman Francisco Villalobos claimed the Delaware Conference Batter of the Month award. The 27-year-old swung with confidence, hitting .346 with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Currently Villalobos is batting .289 with 27 home runs and 101 RBIs.
González Voted Best DE Conf Pitcher in September: Veteran Ricardo González put together quite a successful stretch in September for the Georgetown Sixteens, earning himself the Delaware Conference Pitcher of the Month award. González racked up a 5-1 record in 6 starts, posting a 2.87 ERA over 47 innings and striking out 60. In 34 starts this season González has chalked up a 27-4 record and a 2.07 ERA.
Francisco Villalobos Triumphs in DE Conf Rookie Vote: The Delaware Conference Rookie of the Month has been picked for September and the honor went to the Chadds Ford Cannons hitting machine, Francisco Villalobos. During the last month he compiled a .346 batting average with 36 hits and 8 home runs, along with 30 RBIs and 17 runs scored. In his 2033 season totals, Villalobos has 27 home runs, .289 BA, .352 OBP, 101 RBIs and 64 runs scored.

MV Conf Batter of the Month Honors to Peña: Lúcio Peña battered MarVa Conference pitchers all September and wound up taking home the Batter of the Month Award. "I've been around DELMARVA Baseball League long enough to know you really have to work hard day in and day out to be able to put up this kind of consistency," the 28-year-old Peña told reporters. "I put in a lot of work, even on the days I might not take the field, and it's always nice when everything comes together for me like it did this last month." In 27 games, Peña hit .302 with 15 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 24 runs. Peña currently has a .299 batting average with 154 hits, 53 homers, 135 RBIs, 128 runs scored and a .392 OBP.
MarVa Conference Announces September's Top Pitcher: The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the MarVa Conference winner is Richmond hurler, Earl Fuller. For his fine efforts in September he has been named the league's #1 pitcher. During the month, Fuller excelled with a 1.45 ERA and 6 wins and no losses. In 43.1 innings he struck out 29 and gave up 30 hits and 10 walks. Checking out his stats for the season, Fuller has notched 22 wins and 5 losses in 33 starts, 3.14 ERA and struck out 151 batters in 218 innings.
MarVa Conference Names Rookie of Month: Reynaldo Martínez earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the MarVa Conference for last month's performance. The boyish King George first baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Martínez hit .316 with 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 16 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. Thus far this year Martínez has hit .255 with 24 home runs and 100 RBIs.

In the DE Conference everything has been decided, in the MV Conference the wild card race looks to be coming down to a great final 2 games.
Colonial Division: Milford Clippers - Make the playoffs for the first time since 2024 and their fourth time in their history. They do have titles in 2021 and and 2022.
Northern Division: Newark Millers - The Millers make the playoffs for the second time in a row and the third time in their history.
Atlantic Division: Georgetown Sixteens - The Sixteens will make their third playoff appearance and first since 2030. They own one title in 2029. They have also set a team record for W's winning over 100 games for the first time in team history.
DE Wild Card: Lewes Braves - The Braves reach the playoffs via wild card for the third straight season. They have a total of 11 playoff appearances and a DE Conference high 5 titles.
Beltway Division: Annapolis Admirals - The Admirals reach the playoffs for the 2nd time in a row, third time in the past 4 and 8th time in team history.
Mountain Division: Richmond Cardinals - The Cardinals reach the playoffs for the second time in team history, making the playoffs in 2031 for the first time.
Coastal Division: Norfolk Cavaliers - The Cavaliers reach the playoffs for the 19th team and win their division for the 18th time in a row. They have a DelMarVa BL high 10 Championship titles.
MV Wild Card: The Wild Card was the Senators to lose and after a 2-8 record over their last 10 games they have just about given away. The Surf Dawgs will finish their season in Ocean City facing Julio Rocha (17-8 3.02) and Juan Ornelas (7-17 5.54) while the Senators host the Salisbury Ports and face off against Jesus Miranda (9-18 4.29) and Jose Guzman (10-11 4.60). In simulations the Surf Dawgs are the favorites to win it, but if the Senators offense can wake up that could change. Should be fun.
