FIRST ROUND REPLAYS

Arguello (13) TKO 8 Singer

Good action in the opening round, slight edge to Arguello. Singer wins the second round, and the bout remains close until round five, when Arguello hammers away, causing a cut and some swelling to develop around Singer’s left eye. Joyce SD 10 Cabana

With the ouster of only one seed (#14 DeJesus), only minor re-jiggering of the draw for the second round is needed.
