I moved Denton to the 60-day DL and he will be added back to the 40-man as soon as I can. I wanted to get Tadsuke on the roster to see what he could do. He had a rough debut, but hopefully that was just nerves he should be a big help next season.

Other/Roster News:
none

GM Notes:
After a wonderful 15-11 July, I really thought we were turning the corner, but wow was I wrong. The 9-18 August, the worse month of the year appeared! I am not sure what is going on with this team, but I do hope that the call-ups will spark some kind of energy and excitement in this team... it is getting frustrating, specially with my job on the line. And in all honesty, this 1-6 week might have been the nail in the coffin.

Hopefully we will get a good look at the young guys and see what they are all about. We have 9 players on our roster who are making or made the debut this season. We currently have 35 players on our active roster so it will be interesting to see how coaching staff works everyone in.

Our minor league's have bee awful, despite having the #5 minor league system. San Juan, our AAA team, is 3 games out, and have the best chance off doing something but with limited games left it is not looking good.

Carl Oulton has been awesome this season especially for a team that is 57-79. This season as a 23-year-old he his 11-10 2.91 with 120 K's. He may just be the team's MVP this season. I have been blown away by his performance. I am really excited to see him next season. He just keeps getting better.

If I am here next season I am going to try to deal Ryan Urbina. I feel like I have young guys that can do what he has done (.246-3-56). He isn't worth as much as he was in 2029 when he slugged 52 dingers, but I feel like I should be able to get something for him. To replace him I have Lawrence Harrison (.255-7-18, 56 G) and Carroll Johnson (.315-13-62, 97 G in AAA).

I will have my hands full during the off-season trying to get this team ready for a playoff run. I do feel like we have the pitching, yes the bullpen wasn't nearly as good as last season, but they will get there and our starters are going to be better next season than this... If I can make one, maybe 2, trades we could be right there.

This streak of poor play has pushed us 6-games out of 2nd place and I really thought we were going to finish in second this season... painful, just painful... I just want this to end or at least let us finish strong.
